Canyons Resort, a Utah ski destination, is proposing a $10 million gondola project that will connect resorts and extend for two miles. Plenty has changed since the 2002 Winter Olympics remade Utah's ski industry. Utah officials are looking to make another Olympic bid for the 2006 games. More than $1 billion in improvements have been made across 14 ski resorts, including Park City's Waldorf Astoria and Montage Deer Valley.
